This policy explains how Koeta Inc. handles personal information across Talevest. Talevest is a beta product. Using it is not an investment recommendation.

1. Who we are

Koeta Inc. (“Koeta,” “we,” “us”) is an Ontario corporation. Talevest is a Koeta product. Privacy Officer: privacy@koeta.io. This policy is written against PIPEDA and Ontario privacy practice as they apply to us today. It is not a certification and not legal advice.

2. Scope

This policy covers talevest.ca and related Talevest interfaces. Different hosts collect different things. The marketing site does not connect a wallet. The product desk and API do, if you choose to bind or transact.

3. Beta and risk notice

Talevest is beta software. Logs, binds, and abuse controls may change. On-chain activity is public and is not something we can make private. Cryptocurrency use can cause total loss; that economic risk is explained in the Terms of Use. This policy does not make Koeta your broker, custodian, or adviser.

4. What we collect

talevest.ca: If you send the contact email, Koeta receives what you include (typically name, email, topic, message, and ordinary email metadata). Opening the pre-filled mail link does not, by itself, send us a copy. Theme preference may stay in your browser localStorage (talevest-theme) and is not used as an account identifier.

Product desk and API: Wallet addresses you connect or bind; signatures you provide to prove control of a wallet; device cookie identifiers we set for abuse resistance; hashed network addresses; claim, vote, listing, and application records you create; watch-session signals for a daily drop if you use that feature; and ordinary server logs (time, path, status).

Operations staff on a separate Koeta host see records needed to run the beta. That host is not this public site.

5. What we do not collect

We do not ask for government ID, KYC documents, seed phrases, or private keys. Do not send them. We do not take card payments on these hosts. We do not collect health information. As of the last-updated date, talevest.ca does not run advertising or analytics trackers.

6. How we use it

We use information to operate the beta, reply to you, enforce Terms, limit abuse (including repeat claims from the same device or hashed network), keep business records, secure the Services, and meet legal duties. Sending a marketing-site inquiry does not opt you into CASL commercial electronic messages; that requires separate express consent.

Wallet addresses and transaction hashes may appear on public block explorers independently of us. We cannot unsay a chain transaction.

7. Cookies and similar technology

talevest.ca does not set product session cookies. The product API may set a host-only device cookie used for Sybil / repeat-claim resistance. That cookie is not a marketing tracker. You can block cookies in your browser; some desk features will then fail closed.

8. Wallets and keys

Connecting MetaMask (or another wallet) shares a public address with the Services. We never need, and you must never provide, a private key or seed. Koeta hosts do not hold custody of your ETH or TVST.

9. Retention and processors

We keep records as long as needed to operate the beta, resist abuse, and meet legal holds. Infrastructure may include our Hostinger hosts and a database processor in the course of providing the API. We do not sell personal information.

10. Your rights

Subject to Canadian law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to access it, to correct it, or to withdraw consent for a consent-based use. We may need to verify identity. On-chain records cannot be erased by us. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
